Arie Wahyu Wijayanto obtained a Doctor of Engineering degree in computer science from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. His research interest lies in the field of data science, official statistics, big data analytics, and geospatial artificial intelligence.
At KORIKA, he is responsible for initiating the development of Al-related curricula and also the Head of the Center for Research and Community Services, Politeknik Statistika STIS, Jakarta, Indonesia. His research team won the GEO SDG Awards 2023 for Special Category of Innovation under the project of Granular Poverty Mapping from Space.
